Job Description 
Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance (IA) and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering.  Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance. 
Complete IA security updates per applicable governance instructions for applications and systems assigned. Report security update completion to the assigned Government representative. Perform daily IA tracking and updating of software/configuration in accordance with DoD IA standards.
Provide assistance as required to complete System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAA) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages on all Navy applications and systems.
Provide Information Assurance Technical support (IAT) personnel to assist NPC Information Assurance Manager (IAM) with monitoring, scanning, and documenting network Information Assurance compliance. 
 

Basic Qualifications. 
Must have experience with the following security tools:  HP Security Center, HP WebInspect and HP Fortify Static Code Analyzer.

Knowledgeable in the following Software tools:
Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Adobe Flash Builder, Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2. 

Three (3) years-experience as Information Assurance administrator and experience with IT systems required.

Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification or Linux Professional.
